Yoomie Ahn serves as the Director of Fund Management in the Strategic Investments (SI) Group at Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC). In this role, she supports the SI Group’s Fund Performance & Measurement team and acts as the fund manager for the Partnership for the Bay’s Future, a $500M+ initiative to fund affordable housing in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties in Northern California.
Prior to joining LISC, Yoomie served in local government as supervisor of the Housing Division Development team in Arlington County, Virginia, overseeing the County’s loan funding process for a $123M development pipeline of 1,250+ affordable homes. She has also worked on affordable housing and commercial real estate transactions as an attorney, developer, and investor.
Yoomie was both a mentee and a mentor with Arlington County’s Women Work mentorship program. She graduated from Cornell University and Berkeley Law. She is also a graduate of the Leadership San Mateo-Foster City-Burlingame-Hillsborough Program. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering, hiking and backpacking in the U.S. and abroad, and going on factory and intentional community tours.
