Pre-Development  Investments in Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)

CAPITAL FOR THE FUTURE

Pre-Development  Investments in
Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)

On behalf of our investors, LISC will invest in early state projects on campuses of HBCUs, putting the school in the driver's seat for community development.

The finance vehicle will make investments of $100K - $500K to support feasibility studies, environmental analysis, market studies, and other work to make these projects investment ready.

HBCUs make up only 3% of U.S. colleges and universities, yet produce almost 20% of all African American graduates. These investments will allow HBCUs financial independence to build what is needed for the success of their students and communities.1
